Neurodivergent individuals often have their needs ignored at work due to a lack of awareness. However, with knowledge and confidence, we can support and enable them to thrive creating a truly inclusive workplace.

In the UK, it is estimated that 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent, but in the past, their differences were often mistaken for laziness. Without support or recognition, neurodiverse individuals are at an increased risk of mental illness and poor well-being, both socially and in the workplace.

While some neurodivergent people can thrive in the workplace and build resilience to the difficulties they might face, others may struggle and experience depression, stress, and bullying.

So What’s The Solution?

When employees with neurodivergent conditions become disengaged from their roles, their full potential cannot be realised. Bridging the gap of understanding between neurodivergent employees, managers and their colleagues, enables better communication and support and productivity.

As a result, those businesses and teams that value and accommodate neurodiversity are more effective and inclusive.

Our “Thrive: Neurodiversity in the Workplace” program addresses the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals in the workplace, such as underutilisation and a lack of support. By learning to create an inclusive work environment that recognises, supports, and leverages the unique strengths and needs of neurodivergent employees (including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia), businesses improve their understanding, communication, and collaboration within diverse teams. This leads to enhanced innovation, productivity, and employee well-being, benefiting both individuals and the business as a whole. 

Aware: 1 Hour

Our introductory webinar provides the perfect gateway into understanding and supporting neurodiversity.

The aims of this 1-hour session are:

• to increase your understanding of neurodiversity
• learn how to properly support neurodiverse individuals in the workplace
• and more importantly help to unlock their huge potential

The Aware webinar is delivered online only, and is a pre-requisite for our Champion and Manager’s workshops.

Champion: 1/2 Day

This is a half-day workshop delivered either online or face-to-face and is designed for anyone that wants to become a Neurodiversity Champion – someone who wants to educate and change the way that neurodiversity is viewed in your company.

The aims of this workshop are:

• to lead acceptance of neurodiversity across the workplace and beyond
• to help facilitate and change the culture in your workplace around neurodiversity and its acceptance.

The result of completing an Aware webinar and a Champion workshop combined means that you will become a Thrive Neurodiverse Standards Employer.

Cost: £1,600 for up to 15 participants + Travel Expenses

Managers: 1 Day

This is a one-day workshop delivered either online or face-to-face. We understand the challenges managers can experience working within a neurodiverse team, so this training is specifically tailored for team managers.

The aims of this workshop:

• Do you want to improve communication in your workplace?
• Do you want managers to create an inclusive culture?
• Do you want to learn how diversity can be an asset?

This workshop develops in detail the themes from the Aware webinar. It’s designed to nurture an acceptance and change of culture around neurodiversity. This workshop features many hands-on learning opportunities.

At the end of this session, your managers will be able to confidently approach and articulate their intent to create a fully inclusive workplace for all.
